Linux Tycoon Classic
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Note: Linux Tycoon Classic is free for all full subscribers to The Lunduke Journal. It's one of the oh-so-many benefits for subscribers.
This is the classic version of Linux Tycoon.
Linux Tycoon was initially conceived as a joke -- a Linux Simulation and management game. How absurd! But I like absurd things. So I made it.
It's a funky, weird game. Highly goofy. And, wouldn't ya know, the darn thing even made a "Top Indie Strategy" game list the year it came out. The Universe is funny that way.
The Linux version is a 32bit binary. So you'll need to install 32bit (i386) versions of some libraries. Run LinuxTycoon from a terminal to see what libraries your particular distro might be missing. I'll get a working AppImage (.iso) with all the dependency libraries in it as soon as I get a chance.
The Windows version, likewise, is x86 32bit. Should work dandy on XP on up. Probably Windows 2000 as well. Runs great in Wine.
No MacOS X build at the moment. As I don't have a Mac.
